Strain specific analysis of CAIX gene expression in wild type (WT) mice and B-hCAIX mice by RT-PCR.Mouse Car9 mRNA was detectable only in stomach of WT mice (+/+). Human CAIX mRNA was detectable only in homozygous B-hCAIX mice (H/H) but not in WT mice (+/+).
IHC analysis of CAIX expression
Immunohistochemical (IHC) analysis of CAIX expression in homozygous B-hCAIX mice.The stomach and liver were collected from WT and homozygous B-hCAIX mice (H/H) and analyzed by IHC with anti-human CAIX antibody. Human CAIX was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hCAIX mice (H/H) but not in WT mice (+/+). The arrow indicates tissue cells with positive CAIX staining.
