Genetic Background Detection

Even with the same mutated genes, animals may exhibit different phenotypes if their genetic backgrounds differ. To maintain the stability of the strain's phenotype during breeding, it is essential to keep the genetic background of the animals unchanged throughout the breeding process. Therefore, each animal strain should have its genetic background confirmed to determine whether it influences the expected phenotype under the current genetic background, allowing for the selection of a more suitable genetic background and appropriate control animals.
