DescriptionFGB is the beta component of fibrinogen, a blood-borne glycoprotein comprised of three pairs of nonidentical polypeptide chains, which is a plasma glycoprotein that is constitutively synthesized by liver.
The exons 1~8 of mouse Fgb gene that encode the full-length protein were replaced by human FGB exons 1~8 in B-hFGB mice.
FGB protein was detected in liver and plasma of homozygous B-hFGB mice.
Application: This product is used for pharmacodynamics and safety evaluation of anticoagulant drugs.

Protein expression analysis
Western blot analysis of FGB protein expression in homozygous B-hFGB mice. Liver tissue lysates were collected from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hFGB mice (H/H), and then analyzed by western blot with species-specific anti-FGB antibody. 40 μg total proteins were loaded for western blotting analysis.
