Strain specific PDGFD expression analysis in homozygous B-hPDGFD mice by ELISA. Serum were collected from male wild-type mice C57BL/6 mice (+/+) (n=3, 6-week old) and homozygous B-hPDGFD mice (H/H) (n=3, 6-week old), and analyzed by ELISA with human PDGFD ELISA kit. Human PDGFD was exclusively detectable in homozygous mice.

Strain specific analysis of PDGFD mRNA expression in wild-type C57BL/6 mice and B-hPDGFD mice by RT-PCR. Adrenal gland RNA were isolated from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hPDGFD mice (H/H), then cDNA libraries were synthesized by reverse transcription, followed by PCR with mouse or human PDGFD primers. Mouse Pdgfd mRNA was only detectable in wild-type mice. Human PDGFD mRNA was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hPDGFD mice but not in wild-type mice.
