mRNA expression analysis
Strain specific analysis of C5AR2 gene expression in wild-type C57BL/6 mice and B-hC5AR2 mice by RT-PCR. Mouse C5ar2 mRNA was detectable in spleen of wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) but not in homozygous B-hC5AR2 mice (H/H). Human C5AR2 mRNA was detectable only in homozygous B-hC5AR2 mice but not in wild-type mice.
Protein expression analysis
Strain specific C5AR2 expression analysis in homozygous B-hC5AR2 mice by FACS. Peritoneal washes were collected from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hC5AR2 mice (H/H) and analyzed by FACS with anti-C5AR2 antibody. C5AR2 was both detectable in wild-type mice and homozygous B-hC5AR2 mice with anti-mC5AR2 antibody.
