Gene targeting strategy for B-hCXCR5 mice. The exons 1~2 of mouse Cxcr5 gene that encode the full-length protein were replaced by human CXCR5 exons 1~2 in B-hCXCR5 mice.

Strain specific CXCR5 expression analysis in homozygous B-hCXCR5 mice by flow cytometry. Splenocytes were collected from wild-type mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hCXCR5 mice (H/H), and analyzed by flow cytometry with species-specific anti-CXCR5 antibody. Mouse CXCR5 was exclusively detectable in wild-type mice and human CXCR5 was detectable in homozygous B-hCXCR5 mice.
