      Description
      • Ninjurin-1 (nerve injuryinduced protein 1) is a 20-22 kDa member of the Ninjurin family of transmembrane (TM) proteins.
      • The exons 1-3 of mouse Ninj1 gene that encode extracellular domain and transmembrane domain, and cytoplasmic region are replaced by human counterparts in B-hNINJ1 mice. The promoter and 5’UTR region of the mouse gene are retained. The human NINJ1 expression is driven by endogenous mouse Ninj1 promoter, while mouse Ninj1 gene transcription and translation will be disrupted.
      • Mouse Ninj1 mRNA was detectable in wild-type C57BL/6JNifdc mice. Human NINJ1 mRNA was only detectable in homozygous B-hNINJ1 mice.
      • Application: This product is used for pharmacodynamics and safety evaluation of anti-tumor drugs.
mRNA expression analysis in humanized B-hNINJ1 mice

Species specific analysis of NINJ1 gene expression in wild-type C57BL/6JNifdc mice and homozygous humanized B-hNINJ1 mice by RT-PCR. Bone marrow was collected from wild-type C57BL/6JNifdc mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hNINJ1 mice (H/H). Mouse Ninj1 mRNA was detectable only in wild-type C57BL/6JNifdc mice. Human NINJ1 mRNA was detectable only in homozygous B-hNINJ1 mice, but not in wild-type C57BL/6JNifdc mice.
